DAMN RIGHT

Damn Right formed onstage at the legendary Baltimore venue, the 8X10 and immediately noticed a distinct improvisational chemistry. The trio (with then keyboardist Blake Mobley) spent the next few years refining their sound and making a name for themselves as a quality live act, performing all over the country with the help from occasional live and studio sit ins from improvisational wizards such as Bernie Worrell (P-Funk, Talking Heads), Marco Benevento, and Billy Martin (Medeski Martin & Wood) to name a few.

Presently Damn Right finds themselves as a Philadelphia/BRooklyn based live/studio production duo that is making as many waves with their studio work as their live show. And its those roots in improv and experience gained through years of touring by founding members Tommy Bradel (drummer/producer/designer) and Johnny Fissinger (bassist/producer/vocals) that give their song writing and production such a unique sound. While pulling little bits from pretty much any genre while keeping a constant emphasis on capturing the free flowing emotion of live instrumentation, the band is bringing a new energy to both the live and studio settings. Their brand of nostalgia drenched electronic composition is sure to please fans from all kinds of circles. And thats exactly what Damn Right is about :)
